Make it Big in Japan

If you're a gaijin (foreigner) living in Japan, there is a LOT of work available in acting, narration and modeling. You needn't look like Brad Pitt to get work, and it generally pays well, depending upon the job. Today, for example, I appeared in an upcoming TV drama with Ken Watanabe - famous for Inception, The Last Samurai, Batman Begins and Letters from Iwo Jima. Pretty cool guy, and a very laid back, stress-free gig. I've also starred in a video by JPop megastar Otsuka Ai and am the voice of automated Canon copiers. Below are the most active agencies where you should register. If you don't have a head shot, they'll shoot you (I mean take your picture!). There's no fee to join, and they're likely to find you a steady trickle to a deluge of work. Sign up with several:

GroupEcho

GroupEcho gets commercial work (which pays the best generally) but they primarily specialize in movie extra work and have close ties with the National Broadcasting Corporation.

IMO has a terrible reputation for trying to avoid paying; they're also one of Japan's oldest agencies, and may have Yakuza connections. Extras have complained that they cater to a core group of people they treat like gold, but when they want someone new, they try to get out of paying until the newcomer gives up in frustration. As this is just hearsay to me, your mileage may vary.
