このデビューアルバムは、音楽家の中で、アングラ音楽の傑作と思われています。色々の歌は映画のサウンド・トラックに現れて、他のバンドを良く歌っていますが、ジョナサンリッチマンの音楽は、まだあまり大ヒットになりませんでした。

でも、このアルバムの記録後、キーボード奏者のJerry Harrison はTalking Heads のバンドの共同創立者になって、ドラマーのDavid Robinson もThe Cars のバンドを結成しまし手、両方は、大変有名になりました。
